Wow. I told you that I wouldn't be able to keep up with this thing. But I just remembered so here I am.
Jaimisen is almost 28 months now! He talks in complete, full sentences like he's 20 years old. He has an amazing vocabulary although sometimes he still needs a translator. Everybody that meets him and asks how old he is says he is a very tall 2 year old. I agree even though his doctor said he was totally average; I think they looked up something wrong. He knows almost all of his letters and is learning some numbers. He can count up to 10 with little problem and knows some numbers in the teens too. He can almost perfectly spell his name; the two I's give him trouble. If you ask where he lives, he says "concord, california." He knows how old he is and even puts up two fingers. He likes playing baseball with Bompa and riding in his jeep with Uncle Evan. He absolutely loves music; he sings huge pieces of songs all by himself and is always dancing. He can identify Taylor Swift by voice. His favorite song is "All The Single Ladies" by Beyonce; yes, it's hilarious. He's shy at first but give him 15-20 minutes and he's ready to play. He is going to MyGym twice a week and LOVES it. He just recently moved up to the bigger boy class because the toddler class was too easy for him and the teachers said he would benefit from the challenge. The other kids in his class are 30 months and up so he is considerably younger than the other kids. This class stresses being patient and waiting your turn; something he needed to work on and has really improved on thanks to MyGym. Other than that, he's a typical boy. He will hardly sit down for 10 seconds and always wants to be running and jumping and climbing.
We are about to take our first long road trip to Idaho in a couple weeks! We are so excited to see all our family :) We are also dragging JD along. Just kidding, he wants to go. So it should be an interesting trip.
This weekend JD and I are going to Reno just the two of us. It's our annual vacation. I definitely need a relaxing vacation so I'm really looking forward to it.
Other than that, everything around here is the same. I'm still in school, I have two more classes and I'll graduate this December. I'll start the credential program in January and be done the following December with a multiple subject credential and hopefully a single subject in Math as well. Then finally I can move on with my life. Haha. I'm still teaching tumbling to the high school cheerleaders and making good money doing it. I'm going to also start tutoring my best friend's little brother this school year.
Obviously, we have a busy life. Always going. Always something to do. So the couple vacations we have coming up are much needed and we can't wait. I'll try to figure out how to post pictures. Haha.
